We live here. Your Second Shooter is a free roster of second photographers and videographers. Lead photographers, studios and production teams scan the contact sheet, check a frame, and contact the shooter directly. Find us here.
Don't swap lenses, add another. That is the whole idea. A lead keeps their eye, their style and their client. A second shooter is the other body on the day: the groom's side while the lead is with the bride, the wide angle during the vows, the second camera on the interview. This site exists so finding that person stops depending on a Facebook post the night before.
How frames get here
Some shooters list themselves. Others were listed from their own public pages and posts, because they already advertise second shooting; those frames are marked unclaimed, link to the source, and the shooter can claim the frame to control it, or have it removed with one email. Every self-submitted frame is reviewed by a human before it goes up.
What the site is not
Not an agency, not a marketplace, not a booking platform. No commission, no contracts, no payments run through here. Hiring is between photographers, on their own terms, the way it has always worked; the sheet just makes the roster visible.
Coverage
The founding roster is the Atlanta metro, because that is where the founding bench shoots. The sheet is built for any metro; when enough frames from a city arrive, it opens. Get listed to start yours.
Money
Listings are free. Featured frames, circled in grease pencil at the top of the sheet, are the paid spot, offered to listed shooters first. Nothing about a frame's facts is ever for sale: rates, gear and genres print exactly as the shooter states them.
